The regular meeting of the School Board of Independent School District No. 544 was held in the Community Education Room, Roosevelt Education Center. Chair, Melanie Cole, called the meeting to order at 5:15 pm. The following members were present: Kirby Anderson, Jeney Christensen, Melanie Cole, Kelli Graff, Missy Hermes, and Stephen Vigesaa. Jeff Drake, Superintendent, was also present.

The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. 

Missy Hermes, clerk, established a quorum.

Kirby Anderson made a motion to approve the agenda as presented. The motion was seconded by Jeney Christensen and carried unanimously. 

Stephen Vigesaa offered the resolution of acknowledgements for the following and moved for its adoption:

• Thank you to AvidXchange, Inc and The Naz for their donations to the MAAP STARS at Fergus Falls Area Learning Center. 

• Thank you to Rohde Insurance Agency, Ottertail Coaches, Park Region Telephone, Quality Toyota, Invision Eye Care, LifeSmiles Dental, and Fergus Falls Sertoma Club for their donations to Kennedy Secondary School for the upcoming music trip.

• Thank you to BW Integrated Systems for their generous donation of steel to the welding program at Fergus Falls Public Schools.

The motion was seconded by Kelli Graff and upon roll call vote being taken, the following voted in favor thereof: Kirby Anderson, Jeney Christensen, Melanie Cole, Kelli Graff, Missy Hermes, and Stephen Vigesaa; 

and the following voted against same: 

None. 

Whereupon said motion was declared duly passed and the resolution adopted.

• Fergus Falls Fish & Game Club for their donation to the Lincoln Prairie Restoration at Lincoln School

• Service Food Market, Great Plains Natural Gas, and Wal-mart for their donations to the MAAP STARS Program at the Fergus Falls Area Learning Center

• Fergus Falls Monument Company, American Federal Bank, Jayme Mace Family Dentistry, AMP Insurance, Glende Nilson Funeral Home, and Olson Funeral Home for their donations to the upcoming Music Trip for students from Kennedy Secondary School

• Shoremaster for their donation of aluminum to the Super Mileage car team at Fergus Falls Public Schools

The motion was seconded by Kelli Graff and upon roll call vote being taken, the following voted in favor thereof: Kirby Anderson, Jeney Christensen, Melanie Cole, Kelli Graff, Missy Hermes, and Stephen Vigesaa;
