For just the 2nd time in Otter history, we have a History Day National Qualifier! Congratulations to freshman Aalexis Gunther for taking 1st place at State for her exhibit "Charles Schulz: A Silent Voice in the Frontier of Inclusion".
She will be going to DC for the National Competition at the University of Maryland in June!
Another milestone was our first ever iQ Academy students, 6th graders Izabell Ray and Siah Roberts, competing and becoming State qualifiers. With that they also swept a huge title taking 4th place!
History Day participants are advised by Danielle Buckmeier and Missy Hermes.
Congrats everyone!
