Dear Otter Parents and Students,

It is with great pleasure that I serve the Fergus Falls High School and community as the principal.  It is an honor to lead the school with a history of success in academics, athletics, and fine arts.  True growth and development come when you purposefully develop deep relationships with students, staff, parents, and your community.  Our goal is to make sure that ALL voices are heard which then enables our leaders within our high school to make the right decisions for our students and community to grow and develop into great leaders themselves.  The focus for FFHS is to make sure we develop a well rounded student who has had multiple opportunities to develop a sense of community, career and college pathway, and exposure off campus in job shadowing which will enable students to make the right choices for their future after high school.  As a learning community, we are committed to providing each and every student a rigorous education that challenges them to be their best selves today, tomorrow, and in their future.  Together we are better, and the more opportunities we can involve the whole Fergus Falls community, the better we will be as a school.

IT IS ALWAYS A GREAT DAY TO BE AN OTTER!!!

Mark Anderson

Fergus Falls High School Principal

The Special Olympics Unified Champion Schools program is aimed at promoting social inclusion through intentionally planned and implemented activities affecting systems-wide change. With sports as the foundation, the three component model offers a unique combination of effective activities that equip young people with tools and training to create sports, classroom and school climates of acceptance. These are school climates where students with disabilities feel welcome and are routinely included in, and feel a part of, all activities, opportunities and functions.

Our students enjoyed pizza and bowling competition in Moorhead last week. Our Unified Champion Schools program is led by Eliza Robertson.
