Dear Otter Parents and Students,

It is with great pleasure that I serve the Fergus Falls High School and community as the principal.  It is an honor to lead the school with a history of success in academics, athletics, and fine arts.  True growth and development come when you purposefully develop deep relationships with students, staff, parents, and your community.  Our goal is to make sure that ALL voices are heard which then enables our leaders within our high school to make the right decisions for our students and community to grow and develop into great leaders themselves.  The focus for FFHS is to make sure we develop a well rounded student who has had multiple opportunities to develop a sense of community, career and college pathway, and exposure off campus in job shadowing which will enable students to make the right choices for their future after high school.  As a learning community, we are committed to providing each and every student a rigorous education that challenges them to be their best selves today, tomorrow, and in their future.  Together we are better, and the more opportunities we can involve the whole Fergus Falls community, the better we will be as a school.

IT IS ALWAYS A GREAT DAY TO BE AN OTTER!!!

Mark Anderson

Fergus Falls High School Principal

Two years ago Kathryn Enderson started visiting with RDO in Fergus Falls about ISD 544's internship program and the possibility of placing a high school intern with them. Through discussions with Andy Luikens, Recruiting Program Manager and Kasey Lindstrom, Fergus Falls Store Manager, Aiden Lindgren was placed in a paid student internship during the spring semester of 2022. Aiden continued working with them over the summer and through the fall of 2022.

On Monday, during our Fergus Falls High School Senior Signing Day, Aiden signed a $32,000 sponsorship with RDO through their Access Your Future program.

We are so proud of this accomplishment for Aiden and the others behind the scenes who made this happen. Dennis Wutzke had Aiden as a student and recognized his potential to succeed in this program; Kathryn Enderson was able to make the connections through the work-based learning program; Andy helped facilitate the program design; and Kasey provided the local supervision for Aiden.

We are also thankful for the support of Aiden's parents along the way!
