For the second year, KSS students raised pledges and took a cold plunge to support our Unified Champion School program via Special Olympics Minnesota. Our students raised over $7000 for this worthy cause!
For just the 2nd time in Otter history, we have a History Day National Qualifier! Congratulations to freshman Aalexis Gunther for taking 1st place at State for her exhibit "Charles Schulz: A Silent Voice in the Frontier of Inclusion".
She will be going to DC for the National Competition at the University of Maryland in June!
Another milestone was our first ever iQ Academy students, 6th graders Izabell Ray and Siah Roberts, competing and becoming State qualifiers. With that they also swept a huge title taking 4th place!
History Day participants are advised by Danielle Buckmeier and Missy Hermes.
